Monday, June 3, 2024 End-of-Year Reflection Just as I felt at the beginning of this school year, I am filled with gratitude as we close out the 2023-2024 academic year at Calvert. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our community for receiving me with a warm welcome, for giving me the opportunity to gain your trust, and for supporting us in our endeavors as we strive for continuous improvement in teaching and learning at our school. The following are some of the highlights that rise to the surface as I reflect on 2023-2024: Meeting our student, colleague, and parent community and getting to know the culture of our school and the hopes for its future. Facilitating instructional leaders in supporting their colleagues in becoming high-functioning teams - beginning with building trust. Working with teachers to review our programs, both in content and methodology; aligning curriculum and supporting new strategies in classrooms.
