  Here is the slide deck to our GenAI Pop-Up Sandbox Session #1 held on the 16th of November.   Thank you for joining us and we hope to see many of you at future pop-up sessions!

 

We are delighted to share that Tim Warren and Eric Crabtree will be presenting workshops at the AMISA EDCON in March at the American School in Asunción in Paraguay.  We are even more delighted to share that we have a few spaces available for teachers who would like to apply to attend the conference. Please check out the conference themes and keynote speakers here , and if you are interested in being considered to attend, please submit an application via the Professional Development application process -  fill out this form and share it with Claudia Jordan .   Please submit an application by Monday, the 27th of November. The Professional Development Committee will review applications and share decisions prior to departing for the December break.  It will be great to have an ACS team represented at the conference! 

All staff are invited to join Pop-Up Generative AI Sandbox sessions between now and the December break! What is a Pop-Up Generative AI Sandbox Session? -Pop-Up because they will be announced on the Monday of the week in which the session will take place and they will be at random times. -Generative AI because we will focus on exploring generative AI tools (as opposed to reactive and predictive) -Sandbox because they are designed to be playful and messy! And also a joyful learning experience :)  These sessions will consist of a "mini-lesson" of sorts, followed by time for exploration. We will be playing with several generative AI tools.  If you are using generative AI tools, please join us and share your experiences.
